The City of Charlotte is teaming up with consultants at Karen Karp & Partners (KK&P), Market Ventures Inc., Charlotte Mecklenburg Food Policy Council and the Suede Onion to conduct a city-wide Farmers Market Study. The intention of the study is to “explore how to create a stronger public market system, enhance food entrepreneurship and access, and support farming in our community.”
Jeffie Hardin and Erin Hostetler from EEIF & Rivendell Farms of the Carolinas attended the Farmers Market Community Forum held on January 9, 2018 as part of the City’s study. Excited to hear the findings shared by the researchers, Jeffie and Erin are looking forward to connecting more with the community on this topic.
